VKSA Field Gene Title

The teams offered comprehensive guidance on various aspects of horticulture, including bagging, canopy management, fruit harvesting, advanced production and protection techniques in mango and guava, Improved orchard management strategies, conservation agriculture, Soil health management, natural/organic farming, and value addition to farm produce. During the interaction, farmers shared their experiences, expressed concerns over climate variability, resource constraints, and access to inputs. The scientists of ICAR- CISH, KVKs and officers from state line departments provided real-time solutions and also motivated farmers to adopt sustainable, diversified, and technology-driven horticulture for higher productivity. The initiative served as a platform for knowledge exchange and empowerment of small holding farmers, aiming to transform horticulture into a more productive and profitable enterprise. ICAR- CISH, Lucknow, KVK and State Deptt reiterated their commitment to support farmers through research, innovation, and continuous field-level engagement.
